THE STORY
What new story unfolds when a Japanese song finds a home in Arabic?
Children of the Moon is a manga-inspired animated music video that brings Japanese and Palestinian musical traditions together through an Arabic adaptation of a contemporary Japanese song performed by young musicians from Palestine and the United States.
At its heart, the project reflects on the transience of life, cultural connection, and the shared humanity that music can reveal. The Arabic interpretation of this song retains the emotional force of the original while taking on a character entirely of its own.
